Day in the Life
Food - it's kind of a big deal around here.
We know that meal times are one of the most important happenings for our residents. That's why we work to ensure each meal is one that will satisfy - providing nutritious and delicious options in a restaurant-style setting.
At Century Park Associates, we understand that the value of an excellent dining experience is more than just a source of good nutrition - it's an important social event as well. We also know that cuisine plays a major role in choosing a retirement community and that residents want to live where the food is appetizing and offers a wide variety. This is why our communities take pride in providing seniors with flavorful, well-balanced meals in a cozy, social environment.
Each Century Park community features a dining services department led by a talented chef.
Chefs are trained to craft unique and appetizing menus each day with their senior population in mind. The dining services staff works to ensure there are multiple options available at each meal, taking special diets into careful consideration.
Residents enjoy fresh, home-cooked meals every day and can take comfort knowing their meal will be served by courteous, familiar staff in the community's dining room.
It is our goal that residents receive the nutrition they need while experiencing fine dining at its best.
Maintaining an outstanding dining services program is the mission of Greg Yengo, Century Park's national director of dining services.
Greg oversees the dining programs of Century Park's more than 40 senior living communities, ensuring all our residents receive a quality dining experience.
Greg has been working in the hospitality and dining industry his entire life, starting at the age of 12 in his grandparents' Italian restaurant in New York. He has spent his life creating wonderful dining experiences for senior living communities, restaurants, hotels and casinos. He also spent eight years as a culinary arts instructor at the Art Institute of Colorado.
